cultural diffusion describes the spread of one culture's practices, beliefs, and/or items, like food, music, or tools. at the heart of Antwerp lies the Turnhoutsebaan, the centre of the many different cultures inside the city. the displays, signs and shop windows in this street all have their own visual charm and cultural identity. these elements are photographed, indexed, digitized and incorporated into a digital collage. this captures the clash of cultures within 90x90.
